The Tropicarium consists of three parts, which can be visited one after the other with one ticket. They are the Tropicarium, the Aquarium and Predators. Especially interesting for children and also adults are the predators. Here you can see big crocodiles like the Nile crocodile and the Mississippi alligator.
Another highlight are the gigantic sharks such as nurse shark, hammerhead shark and six other species of sharks. In the Tropicarium are many species of turtles and geckos, about 14 species of toads and frogs, iguanas, butterflies in a walk-in room and penguins of the species Magallan penguins. We also liked the many snakes, lizards and monitor lizards. There are other animals like grasshoppers, snails and crabs. In the aquarium you can see many fish from all over the world (saltwater and freshwater fish). Many small and big visitors are fascinated by the piranhas and the section with poisonous fish.
