Since the Corona crisis, line 12 has only seldom departed from islands such as Murano and Burano to Punta Sabbioni, and line 14, which replaces Punta Sabbioni, now operates to Burano in addition to Lido and Venice. In Burano you can change to other islands like Murano and Torcello. Line 14 consists of large ferries that can carry many hundreds of people. The tickets are also valid for buses in Venice. However, buses only operate in the districts of Mestre and Marghera on the mainland and some islands such as Lido and Pellestrina. However, these tickets are valid on the water buses of line 14 everywhere, including on the mainland to Punta Sabbioni, although Punta Sabbioni is not part of the municipality of Venice. Between Punta Sabbioni and Burano the water buses of line 14 run only from about 9 am to 5 pm once an hour in both directions. However, in the mornings and evenings outside these times there are some other smaller ferries of line 12 between Punta Sabbioni and Burano. During the day you can reach Punta Sabbioni every 30 minutes by bus from Jesolo and Cavallino. There are very large parking lots in Punta Sabbioni, which usually cost 5 euros for a day. Thousands of tourists park here every day and take a vaporetto of line 14 to Venice, Burano or Lido. Great is that the landing stage of the waterbus 14 in Venice is very central, it is only 200 meters on foot to St. Mark's Square. The pier in Venice is called San Marco Zaccaria. At the port of Punta Sabbioni you can buy drinks and there is also a snack bar. There are also public toilets. The big ferries of line 14 also have a toilet, but in our experience this is often locked. Often the ferries are quite full, this also applies to the buses between Jesolo and Punta Sabbioni.
